As a result of the need to provide additional distancing in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nether Edge Primary School has converted their basement storage area of the school into a second dining room for both pupils and staff.
The area, which was previously used for storage, provided the ideal location and extra space needed to maintain social distancing within the school which is located on Glen Road in Sheffield.
The school were looking for a quick turnaround, so we suggested Altro Wood Adhesive Free vinyl which we installed over the existing flooring. The overall area for this project was 190m2 and the client chose the colour of the new flooring: Champagne Oak.
