Following an accident and a consequent health & safety audit earlier this year, we have upgraded cladding and flooring in the washrooms of 16 of Arriva’s garage depots.
Employed by Stewarts Commercial Contactors on behalf of bus operator, Arriva, we carried out site visits at each of the depots to ascertain conditions of the substrates and arrange access. Depending on the condition of the sub-floor, we then prepared the surface and laid either Altro Walkway Safety Flooring or Altro XpressLay.
Both flooring products are anti-slip, highly durable and can be recycled at their end of life making them a sustainable solution for commercial flooring projects.
We also installed Hi-Plast hygienic wall cladding throughout the washrooms to create easily maintainable and quick to clean washing and toilet facilities.
