As ceramic tiling experts, we’ve had the pleasure of working on a whole host of interesting projects over the years. So, when we were approached by Sheffield-based contractors, T&C Williams Limited, to assist with the refurbishment of St Mary’s Catholic Church in Worksop we seized the opportunity , adding it to our extensive ceramics portfolio.

With the architectural input of Smith & Roper (Architects in Bakewell) the project involved the extensive renovation of the finishes and internal fabric of the church itself.

Outlines Tim Vaughan, director at A Cumberlidge: “Our specific role was to renew the ceramic tiling to the chancel steps and the narthex, the area around the font inside the church.

“A specified selection of ‘fine ceramic tiles‘ from Craven Dunnill were used to create a truly stunning finish . The chosen tiles really complement the freshly laid limestone and timber floor finish within the narthex and the client was delighted with the overall look and finish.”
