Here at A Cumberlidge, it’s easy to tell what day of the week it is – today is Recycling Thursday, and it’s like this every Thursday!

We’ve gathered all of our cardboard together ready for collection. There’s just over 90kg here at the minute, and in a matter of weeks it will soon be starting a new life maybe as a cereal box, printing paper, paper towels or even corrugated cardboard, who knows? What’s important is that it will be fully recycled and won’t end up in landfill.

And over in ‘Recofloor Recycling Corner’ there are plenty of bulk bags filling up with vinyl flooring off-cuts, waste vinyl and uplifted vinyl from client jobs we’ve been working on over the last couple of months. When we’ve filled a few more bags, we’ll give the Recofloor team a call and they’ll pick up the bulk bags and take the off-cuts off for recycling and a new lease of life as a traffic management product.

It’s also worth pointing out that Recofloor’s recycling is all collected on a carbon neutral footprint basis thanks to the fact their trucks never return empty from delivering new material. Great stuff.

So, next time you’re at our offices in Dinnington, just take a look in the yard and you should be able to guess what day it is. Well, at least on a Thursday that is!
