New flooring at Sheffield United FC’s new training centre

With more than a few football fans on the team here at A Cumberlidge, we were delighted to be asked to install flooring in the gym area at Sheffield United FC’s new first team training centre in Shirecliffe.

Covering a total of 185m² in total, we laid 110m² Playrite Tournament MF 16mm thick artificial grass and 75m²of Coba Flooring Solid-Step Fatigue 18mm thick rubber tiles in the training area. Players will use the new indoor facility to work on their strength & conditioning and all-round fitness.

Commenting on the project, director at A Cumberlidge, Damian Bradley said: “Over the years we’ve worked on a wide variety of flooring projects for local and regional sporting facilities, so it was great to add Sheffield United FC to that growing list.”
